Greetings everyone, I am happy to be back blogging (after a pretty busy and stressful few weeks!) and I am eager to share my February 2017 Project Life layout with everyone!
So I was very happy to see February end, for a multitude of reasons, but honestly I was most excited for the month to end so I could use my February Life Pages Kit from Gossamer Blue…it was so awesome, I really loved this month’s kit! I loved all the exclusive items and I loved the colour scheme. I focused on the black, hot pink and light blue cards and embellishments and made that my main colour scheme.
I took some foam thickers to embellish my title card and added washi tape and chipboard stars from the February Gossamer Blue Life Pages kit. All the cards and the embellishments are from the same kit with the exception of the enamel dots and the sparkly black Heidi Swapp journaling spot . The “hello sweetheart” sentiment was stamped with a stamp from the kit as well.
I really adored all the cards and embellishments and how they coordinated together so well. I layered a few different embellishments for the enjoy card (two tags, a banner, sticker and a star sticker cut from a Heidi Swapp journal spot) and love the way it turned out. I used lots of washi tape from the Gossamer Blue February Life Pages kit as well as some chipboard stickers and some enamel dots that I had lying around. I happened upon a Toronto sticker set at Crop and Create Toronto over the weekend and I added the Hockey Hall of Fame sticker to that picture.
I had quite a lot of product left from the kit, so I decided to make a cute card with the leftover pieces. I used two 3×4 cards as the base and embellished with some washi tape, ephemera and enamel dots. I always seem to be in short supply of cards so I think I will start to do one each month!
Hope you enjoyed my post and I look forward to showing some other projects I have been working on soon!
